dc.description.abstractWhile internationalisation offers political possibilities for gender studies, there are limits to how internationalisation is currently understood. This paper reflects on the hierarchical thinking that underpins these contemporary understandings of internationalisation, and—drawing on postcolonial and feminist theory—offers suggestions for alternative understandings.
